Spacious Suites With Stunning City Views

Boasting 1,608 rooms and suites, each spanning up to 108 square metres, Nina Hotel Tsuen Wan West is a dual-tower landmark in Tsuen Wan West – a district with its own unique charm. For our visit, we opted for the freshly renovated Executive Apartment Suite, complete with a panoramic view of the cityscape and its highway routes.

Checking in was a breeze. The staff promptly handled our luggage and escorted it straight to the 81st floor, allowing us to take a one-way trip up the lift tucked discreetly away from the main elevators. This little touch of exclusivity added an extra layer of charm to our stay, which we absolutely appreciated.

Walking into the suite, we were greeted by a bright, airy space filled with natural light streaming through the floor-to-ceiling windows. The light wood furnishings and neutral tones created a calming ambiance, and we even caught ourselves mentally bookmarking ideas for future home décor.  In addition, the suite featured a dining area and, to our delight, a dedicated pantry – not just a side counter, but a full-sized pantry stocked with Tea WG teabags ready to be brewed.

Thoughtful Details Make Work And Rest Uninterrupted

Even on a getaway, life’s responsibilities have a way of tagging along. As a writer, there’s always something to type or brainstorm. Unlike other stays where a narrow mini-bar doubles as a desk, the Executive Apartment offered a full-sized table with ample space to spread out my work essentials. Positioned by the bedroom window, it even allowed for power naps between tasks – a thoughtful touch that turned working on the go into a pleasant experience.

The bathroom, however, stole the show. Designed with both style and function in mind, it featured dual counters – one with a sink and another with a cushioned stool and wide mirror, perfect for getting ready for any occasion. The generously sized bathtub and enclosed shower (with both handheld and rainfall options) added to the spa-like experience. Every detail spoke of thoughtful luxury, leaving us feeling utterly pampered.

And while the décor and amenities were impressive, the ultimate test of a hotel is always the quality of sleep. Often, it’s the pillows that fail to deliver, but not here. Somehow, I slept soundly, maybe even a little too soundly – a surefire sign that the hotel nailed the most important aspect of any stay.

From Warm Pools To Well-Lit Workouts

Winter swims aren’t for everyone, but Nina Hotel’s temperature-controlled pool makes them irresistible. The water was comfortably warm – perfect for the season but not overly hot, as it’s a pool, not a jacuzzi. The glass-enclosed space flooded with natural light created a tranquil atmosphere, and combined with the equally well-lit indoor gym, it was the perfect way to start the day before indulging in their breakfast buffet.

A Breakfast Buffet That Hits All the Right Notes

Breakfast buffets are arguably one of the best parts of staying in a hotel, and Café Circles did not disappoint. The spread featured everything from hash browns and cold cuts to cheeses, soup noodles, and pastries. The selection struck just the right balance – enough variety to keep things exciting without being overwhelming. We left with full bellies and happy hearts, ready to take on the day.

A Hidden Gem For Locals And Visitors Alike

Situated in the heart of Tsuen Wan’s shopping zone, right next to Nina Mall 2, the hotel’s location is hard to beat. Surrounded by six shopping malls, over 200 restaurants (not including the hotel’s own), and three cinemas, we were spoiled for choice. Being just a short walk from Tsuen Wan West Station also made getting around incredibly convenient.

As Hong Kong locals, this stay offered a refreshing perspective on a neighbourhood we’d overlooked. Tsuen Wan’s interconnected footbridges made exploring easy and enjoyable, connecting malls and streets in a way that encouraged discovery at every turn. Whether it’s dining, shopping, or simply soaking up the atmosphere, there’s no shortage of ways to enjoy this dynamic part of the city.
