At the 17th edition of the Michelin Guide Hong Kong & Macau, held at the Grand Lisboa Palace Resort Macau, Hong Kong’s dining scene once again affirmed its status as a global culinary hotspot. In 2025, the prestigious guide recognised 76 restaurants in Hong Kong and 19 in Macau with coveted stars. Two Michelin Stars – 1 Promoted Restaurant

17 restaurants secured two Michelin stars this year, with Chef Tam’s Seasons earning a well-deserved promotion from one star. The restaurant reimagines Cantonese cuisine by honouring traditional techniques through a seasonal lens, drawing inspiration from the 24 solar terms. Its dual-menu concept offers both a classic and a seasonal set, while a rotating selection of à la carte dishes – introduced monthly—ensures the freshest ingredients are featured.

One Michelin Star – 7 Newcomers

This year, 69 restaurants across Hong Kong and Macau earned one Michelin star – adding fresh bursts of flavour to the region. In Hong Kong, three newcomers – Ami, Plaisance by Mauro Colagreco, and Tuber Umberto Bombana – joined the prestigious ranks. Meanwhile, Macau welcomed four new awardees – Aji, Mizumi, Sushi Kissho by Miyakawa, and Zuicho – each bringing their own creativity into the mix.
